As Honorary Consul, I will remember Ms. Renee Ikdal for her commitment and professionalism to serve Filipinos not only in Stavanger, but those in west Norway. As a friend of the Embassy, I will remember Tita Renee (as she preferred to be called in private), for her generosity, her engaging stories on how it was for her when she first arrived in Norway, and her amusing kilig when we talked about our favorite Kapamilya teleseryes and loveteams. You will be missed by your Embassy family, Tita Renee. Rest in peace. - Christiansen Cabahug

Renee out good memories will remain in my heart forever. Our last 3 days together in your home are treasured and so glad I spent quality time with you. I love Renee. Rest in Peace my dearest friend.
it is so shocking and hard for me to hear from one of the Filipino colleagues telling in his facebook post that Maam Renee Ikdal has passed away. I am so sad because she was so accommodating when she assisted me to get my documents authenticated. Thank you so much and Rest in peace Maam Renee and condolence to the family
